This hat is a wired, velvet covered plastic canvas type hat. Strung pearls were couched on with silver thread to make the edge border of the band. Pearls and silver tube beads were wired and couched onto the top edge of the coronet . The lace on the band part of this hat is a silver bobbin lace (called shell lace). I would like to thank my model, Monika for making my hats look so good.
