Elizabethan Noble's Silk Doublet & Canions
Clockwise from the doublet and canions on the left. Top center is a close up of the lacing used to add the doublet sleeve. Top right is the close up of the set-in pocket in the canions (this was period). Bottom right is a button which is made by covering a wooden bead with silk and sewing cording around and through the hole on the bead. To the left of that is a row of buttons. To the left of that is a close up of the sholder tabs that hide the lacing.
