Middle Class Women's Elizabethan Wool Flat Cap

This cap was also popular in ElizabethÍs reign with women but in this smaller size. It is being worn with a white biggins. Flat caps where never worn alown but with a linen coil, caul or biggins as shown. The hat would be pinned to the coif, etc.
