Elizabethan Man's Italian Bonnet

The brim of this hat is a wired, velvet covered buckram. The crown is cartridge pleated. It is styled after a red hat worn in a portrait of Scottish Lord Seaton reprinted in the book "The Needlework of Mary Queen of Scots".
