The
photo below shows the partlet with the collar closed. The
base of the partlet has a casing with a drawstring that can be adjusted so that
there is an inverted "V" opening.
There is also a strip of silk with lace on the edge that is pinned to the top
edge of the corset
, this create the key hole opening. The bodice would go over all and would come
about 1 to .5 inches from the bottom lace.
