This hat is a wired covered buckram hat. It is covered with a color on color tapestry fabric. Strung pearls were couched on with gold thread to make the design. Also an oval piece of amber, small amber beads and spear shaped red glass beads add to the design. Three long strands of pearls were added to the edge of the hat and hang like a necklaces.
