Tudor French Hood 3/4 View
The coronet is wired plastic canvas covered with white silk velvet fabric . The beads and pearls were first strung on two parallel wires and then whip stitched on to the edges with metallic thread. The parallel wires are held parallel by the gold tube beads, which are not round but oval in cross section. The pleated gold mesh fabric edging to the black velvet hood shows below the white velvet coronet. The Pattern for this French Hood is now avaiable, this hat is view B. Check my pattern page.
